Bubbles, Big Purple Ball & Corn?

Today we went to the Christmas Tree Shoppe with Mom, and of course got a new batch of bubbles. Last years "Everlasting Bubble Gun" was a big flop, because it would only blow about 2 bubbles per dip in the soap, and what fun is that? This years bubble wand was a big hit. Not only can I make dozens of bubbles at once, it is with minimal effort on my part. That may sound "un-Mommy-like", but lets face it, after blowing a bubble wand for more than a few minutes will make even the most dedicated Mom's a bit un-enthused.

So after a while in the front yard, we moved on down to the back yard for better running room. It is more fun to run through the wall of bubbles to properly pop them. Anytime we're in the back yard, we have to bring "Big Purple Ball" to place in the yard and run around it in circles. Have I mentioned that my child is completely adorable, but really weird? Now here's the kicker (as if that's not enough). Melly had to bring her plastic corn on the cob with her. For some reason, it is only fun to pop bubbles with the cob. If you look closely, you can see it in her hands here. So, we're in the back yard, me blowing billions of bubbles, Melody running around the ball, popping bubbles with her corn on the cob. Ahhh, you can't make this stuff up!

Bubbles are really fun!
We topped off the day with a trip to Toys-R-Us to buy a Wii, and to say "Hi" to Bob.
